Love this place. Yeah it’s hard to get to if you’re going downtown or in my case to the rodeo. Tortillas are fresh. They serve the best lengua airing and the carne guisada is awesome. Currently egg prices are effecting business and specials, but that’s not their fault.

Have been passing by this place a few times visiting my bf. So I came by today to see what it was like. Amazing smells. Food looks good and this place is clean which is a plus. I will be stopping by again!

This is that hidden gem. The tacos are absolutely perfect!!! I got a barbacoa , carne guisada with cheese , and a bacon egg and cheese taco with a sweet tea. The barbacoa not too lean and dry or too much Manteca, the carne guisada was oh so tender and flavorful and the tortillas were fresh made to perfection. Ten out of five stars, I just wish I had the time to sit and enjoy em. Didn't break the bank either I got all these tacos for ten bucks!!!! Will definitely stop in and order again when my schedule allows.

The food is great, and the service is great. I like small-town food in a big city environment. The pricing is very fair on the food. The two waitresses are very great at their job. They never seem to be too busy to ask for something. A couple of times, I went there and was very Undecisive on what to eat, the waitresses will give you their opinion and they are very patient with customers/ me. This place will always have my business. Keep up the great work, y'all.

I go in the morings for tacos. The food is always good, the salsa amazing but the service...nothing beats it. I know they work hard but always greet you with a smile and really friendly. They don't meet a stranger. You need an extra star for the service. I will go there even after it is not on my way to work. Thank you. Pam

This place is so good. Ordered the papas la Mexicana and the migas taco, I loved the migas one. And I was surprised on how big the portion was for the papa one. The flour tortillas were delicious and the lemonade was delicious too. The young lady who attends is very busy with a lot of stuff so be patient if you’re waiting. Would definitely stop here again if by the area.

How had I not tried this place out? This looks like the perfect place for breakfast and an early lunch. So, I stopped in as I was in the area for work, and let me tell you... I can just feel the vibe. Because I was in a little bit of a rush, I could only order 2 of my go-to tacos, Chicharron con Salsa. I was not disappointed at all. The young lady who took my order was absolutely awesome.Welcomed me before.I even finished walking through the door. I ordered a large coffee.Also which came in a 32 ounce cup, which is no longer available at many Mexican restaurants.So I was glad to know that I could get one and she gave me french vanilla creamer from the fridge. The coffee was great also. The menu looks simple and easy to choose from. I was also glad the food turn around was really quick. She told me they opened up about 5 am. in the morning and close about 2 pm. if i'm correct. I am definitely going to stop in again and check out the Lil Johnny's Big Taco for sure.
